Great solar powered phone charger
We now have had a few of these and this one is classy - it definitely has a James Bond feel to it with the gold trim, it charged my iPhone 6, 3 times before needing to recharge - I use the solar mainly in summer time and switch to usb in winter - mind you just a tip when you go to a coffee shop get it out and start charging it gets a lot of interested looks x

I have one of this chargers and I'm very happy with it! Very handy , looking really nice , small and compact and in same time very powerful !. Save my life many times when my battery been nearly off and I've been away from home! It's worth it !
Solar Charger PowerBee ® Executive with USB port : Kept two smart phones running through 5 days at the Glastonbury Festival
I bought the Powerbee Executive prior to Glastonbury to keep two phones (HTC HD7 & Xperia X10 Mini Pro) going.
At the start of the five days I made sure it was fully charged by USB in the car on the Wednesday morning, I left it in the sun when at our tent or sitting around and then topped up our phones each night. We did turn off unnecessary data usage to conserve power but I was still impressed that this charger had sufficient capacity with top ups from the sun to keep both phones running for five days.
With subsequent useage I've found that it can recharge my HTC HD7 almost twice over from a full charge making it an excellent backup power source.
With regards to solar charging it does require outdoor sunlight for at least a day for a full charge, but this is no more than is claimed, or than I would expect. If you aim to charge from USB when you can and then keep it topped up in the sun then I think you'll be very pleased. However if you buy this with the intention of solely powering your phone from the sun then you have unrealistic expectations and will be disappointed.
Overall I believe this an excellent product.

Smartphone Charger PowerBee ® Executive with USB port : Great little charger
I bought this charger to power my mobile phone which has terrible battery life, and only lasts about a day on one charge. The solar charger came with a large number of connections, including one for my phone. I use this most days, charges up via USB very quickly and will charge even when there is no sun, though this takes longer of course. The seller is very helpful and will answer any queries very promptly and delivery is second to none. Overall, I am very pleased with it and am happy that I have a backup charger which I can carry around if needed.

Like one of the other reviewers below, I ordered the basic solar charger and the Executive was delivered with a note stating my order had been upgraded! Winner!
The charger was delivered really quickly, in perfect condition, and was actually already charged when I opened it so I could charge my phone there and then. I do a lot of outdoor activities and travel a lot using a smart phone that drains power as I frequently use GPS, data, etc. This is a great device to use when on a plane or train to top up the phone's battery and ideal when I'm out on the rocks to charge up in the sun and allow me to then check e-mail or use the GPS services on my mobile - especially important if you're camping out for a long weekend without other access to power.
It's a neat device and the additional adaptors come in useful on their own too!
Would recommend this device and company to anyone!

This a brilliant product! I have tried other versions but to my dissapointment none of them could hold a charge. The Powerbee goes everywhere with me now and I keep on finding new uses for it e.g. to charge my E-Cig via usb! Solar charging works great, even in low light. Definitely worth 5 stars and I would highly reccomend. Thanks a million. :-)

I was looking at buying a solar charger for quiet a while and I noticed power bee had the best one for my price and most of all it holds quiet a lot of charge.
It looks like an iPhone 3GS which is a good thing it looks nice and holds a charge well and I use it as back up at night when I have no charge left in my phone. I normally charge it from the window and yes it does take longer to charge but that's understandable but over all worth buying :)

This is what i have been looking for, a solar charger that actually works. I had purchased a cheaper model, not from the same seller, and it turned out to be a waste of time. This one comes with loads of adapters and works well with my htc. It comes charged and the best thing is u can easily check how much power is left in it. Good case is provided and it charged my htc from half to full with lots of power to spare. It acts like a power bank because it can be switched off to stop it from discharging as quickly. If you need a backup power source for yr gadgets you can't beat this..
Have had this working for a while now and its great, charged my htc whilst out walking with gps running twice before it needed a top up. That may not sound much of a feat but smartphones are power hungry when gps is running and this charger kept it going. U must realize that it will charge much better outdoors as glass impedes the suns rays. Overall still very happy with it...

I got this as wanted something I could use when camping. It works really well charging up from sunlight. But I've found I can also charge it up before I go away for short trips from my computer. Once it's charged it's got enough charge in it to charge up my Iphone a couple of times. ( I know it says all this in the instructions but I hadn't appreciated fully what this thing can do).
THe solar charger is Iphone sized, but a bit thicker and heavier. The black leather case supplied is good quality and has a separate pocket for the cable and your preferred adaptor.
I bought the charger from Powerbee Ltd - and received it 2 days later.
So, all in all, highly recommended.

bought this as I am a keen hill walker and have a GPS watch which, depending on usage, sometimes needs recharging on the hill.
This solar charger is ideal for this, and charges my watch almost as fast as the mains. It is light and compact and has adaptors for just about everyhting. It also comes in handy for my mobile phone and Ipod.

After weighing up various options (PowerMonkey Explorer, FreeLoader and the standard PowerPod) I decided that this would be the best option due to it's larger battery size. I am very pleased with my purchase - delivery was quick and any questions were answered immediately. Device works great and comes with a wide range of tips, and if the tip isn't included, there is a USB port which you can use with the lead that came with your device. Very Impressed!
