Check that the positive and negative springs are inserted into the slots of the battery case. Place the battery in the battery compartment with the positive side of the battery facing up. Then screw the battery case clockwise into the lamp head. Tighten it clockwise a little to turn on the light. Screw it counterclockwise a little to turn off the light.
Step 2: Adjust the Grounding Plug
Take out the grounding plug from the light pole, reverse the installation direction and make sure the grounding plug pin faces outward.
Step 3: Assemble the Lamp Body
Insert the other end of the installed light pole into the battery compartment and lamp head. After installing the whole lamp body, put the grounding plug in a sunny ground.

We ordered these for our caravan decking. When they arrived they were well packaged & looked well made.
We let them charge for a day & then switched on &put on decking, they are fabulous! Really bright, look stunning on either the coloured or white setting :) they last all night long.
Will probably be shorter time in winter ( will have to wait & see) , we are really pleased with these & shall be purchasing another 2 sets ... thankyou powerbee!

As with the previous reviewer I too wasn't sure what to expect with the lights. However I shouldn't have doubted, having been a long standing customer with Powerbee, to the extent I won't buy any other make of solar, they are so good. Great little lights, very white, very bright. So good I've just ordered another set! I will continue to buy from Powerbee, great quality solar lights.
