I bought a tree trunk water feature 6 years ago and frankly was amazed the original solar panel and pump kept going for five. This spring, however, it gave up the ghost, so I contacted Nath at Powerbee to ask for advice. Well, turns out they sell a replacement kit just for this particular water feature. It arrived this morning and, in fact, it's much better than the original one. Much better made, and it's even got an on/off switch on the panel itself. The other important improvement is that it now works even when the sun isn't directly on it, something the old one would never do. So I am a very happy bunny.
