Step 1: Unboxing and Inspection - connecting the bulbs

Carefully unpack the festoon lights and inspect all components, including the solar panel, G40 LED bulbs, screws, plugs, and stakes. Ensure that all items are in good condition. Connect the bulbs to the bulb sockets, bulbs are in a seperate box inside to ensure against damage.

Step 2: Solar Panel Placement

Decide whether you want to mount the solar panel in the ground using the stake or on a wall using the screws and plugs provided. For ground installation, insert the stake into the ground in a location that receives ample sunlight during the day. For wall mounting, use the screws and plugs to securely attach the solar panel to a wall, ensuring it faces the sun for optimal charging.

Step 3: Positioning the Lights

Stretch out the festoon lights in the desired location, ensuring there is adequate support when spanning long lengths. Consider using support structures like hooks, poles, or other suitable fixtures to prevent sagging and enhance the visual appeal of the lights.

You can also charge your lights with a dc cable  (not provided) via the dc port on the panel, the festoons can be unplugged from the panel then connected to a dc  port for manual charging
